Coach education
The club supports students to gain coaching and umpiring qualifications during their time at St Andrews, offering level 1 coaching and C umpiring courses. Student coaches are deployed into local schools to help our community engagement programme and run weekly classes during term time as part of the University’s Junior Saints programme. Once students have developed their skills they can begin to work with the student teams at the University – the 3s, 4s, 5s squads and development programme are coached by current performance squad members.
