Coronavirus Information
We understand the importance of being active and the particular role netball and general fitness can have on our members physical and mental wellbeing. Since the start of the 2020/2021 academic year, Saints Netball staff and management team have been working hard to ensure we can deliver an appropriate and safe programme. We are following the latest Scottish Government, University, SportScotland, and Netball Scotland guidance and we are committed to running a safe, appropriate programme in a way that helps to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
In September 2020, Saints Netball achieved its Netball Ready status from Netball Scotland. We have kept our Risk Assessment and protocols up to date with the ever changing nature of the pandemic and the relevant guidelines.
The resources on this page highlight the procedures in place for our members for all training/league matches. All Saints Netball members must be familiar with these procedures and must adhere to the University’s eight-point Covid Code.
Our main priority is keeping everyone safe, so everyone is politely reminded to please follow these rules.
We are extremely proud of what we managed to deliver Semester 1 to keep our players active, in a safe environment. Please read our news article on everything we achieved in these difficult times and the positive impact made.
